IDnow opens Paris office to meet growing European online ID verification demand
IDnow, a leading provider of video identification and eSigning across Europe and nominee of the 2018 FinTech 50 list of Europe’s most promising European startups, has announced the opening of its new office in Paris
There is a rapidly growing demand for online identification solutions, particularly amongst young online banks that are aggressively expanding market share in tandem with instilling consumer confidence in their security practices.
In its 28 January press release, IDnow said the new office marked a step forward for the firm’s international expansion programme, and that the location will enable it to enhance its service for its growing European customer base.

"The ID verification market is growing at a rapid rate, and digital identities are becoming the new currency,” said Rupert Spiegelberg, CEO of IDnow, in the firm’s press statement.
“Both challenger and traditional banks are adapting to today's modern market and a big part of this is being able to offer online based identity verification. As part of this, we are seeing a huge potential in Europe to expand, and the opening of our first office in France reflects this and marks an important milestone in our overall growth objective."
IDnow is adding its AutoIdent platform to its existing solution roster, which includes VideoIdent and eSign, enabling firms to identify their customers through their mobile devices quickly and efficiently without the need for human intervention.
